Overview
The West of Scotland Formulary Committee is the medicines governance group responsible for the West of Scotland Formulary.
The formulary committee:
- considers proposed changes, additions and deletions to the formulary;
- reports to NHS Ayrshire & Arran, NHS Dumfries & Galloway, NHS Forth Valley, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and NHS Lanarkshire’s Area Drug and Therapeutics Committees (ADTCs);
- advises on the formulary status for Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) advice on new medicines.
